Throughout my 35-year of professional journey, I dedicated the first 15 years to serving with the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) force. My transition to corporate security as a second career has provided extensive hands-on experience across multiple security domains - including residential, retail, manufacturing, education, and hospitality security operations. This lifelong commitment to the security field has been driven by continuous learning, culminating in earning my highest academic achievement in Master's degree in Enforcement and Security.

Throughout my career, I have relied on continuous learning, including internet resources, to stay relevant in this ever-evolving field. This self-driven approach has not only sharpened my knowledge but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of shared knowledge. This blog, is my way of sharing hard-earned lessons on how human psychology, habits, and behaviours shape the security decisions. I hope to bridge theory with practice, offering actionable insights that go beyond traditional approaches on how we see and manage the security.

While this blog isn't designed to be an academic resource, however, my aspiration is that behavioural security might eventually emerge as an important academic discipline within security studies.
